Dr. Peter Young (southpacific.peter@gmail.com)
Peter Young is an experienced journalist, educator, administrator, and social media practitioner who has worked in computers since '69. He has lived in 12 different countries outside the US and has permanent United Nations credentials as a result of his work with UNICEF in the mid-70's. He attained his BA from UCLA, MA from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and PhD [ABD] from the Walden University. Peter has been previously appointed as a United States Fulbright Scholar & Chief of [Academic] Party for the Republic of Belarus; a Rotary International Research Fellow in Cartography, and recently was concurrently selected as both a SJSU Salzburg Faculty Fellow and a US Fulbright-Hayes Scholar for Eastern Europe. He has authored and administered $10+ million dollars in research grants and contracts over the years and currently serves as the Director of the Silicon Valley Centre for Global Studies @ San Jose State University.
